Privacy policy

Last updated October 26, 2026

Assistant is a private app with a single user, its owner. This policy covers the Google user data it accesses.

What it accesses

Only the owner's own primary Google Calendar, with read-only access (calendar.readonly): each event's title, start and end time, location, and whether it has a video-call link. It does not read event descriptions or guest lists, and it cannot create, change or delete events.

How it is used

Solely to show the owner his own schedule, answer his questions about it, and send him a morning summary. To write that summary, event titles and times are sent to the owner's AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) under the owner's own account. The data is never sold, shared with anyone else, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.

Storage and security

The Google sign-in is kept in an encrypted vault on the owner's private server, which is reachable only from his own devices. Calendar events are read when needed and not stored, apart from the morning summary text in the owner's own conversation history.

Removing access

The owner can remove Assistant's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
